THE EVER AFTERS, MAY B (perfect for Little House on the Prairie lovers), and RUMP
UPPER MIDDLE GRADE:
Two series my ten-year-old absorbed this year: REDWALL and THE JANITORS

ReplyDeleteI got my youngest nephew, who's in second grade, the entire Spiderwick Chronicles series bound in one huge hardback. I think he's going to be tickled over receiving such a BIG book.
ReplyDeleteI got my older nephew, who's in eighth grade, the Beyonders series by Brandon Mull.
As for my daughters, I didn't get them any books. They have a long wishlist of books for their Kindles, and I left that list alone so aunts and grandparents could have their pick of them.
My son absolutely loved Elephant and Piggie. He brought everyone home from his school library. Not anymore cause he's in 4th grade, but my first grader likes them now too.
ReplyDeleteSo many favorites up there. My daughter begged for every book from Shadow Mountain's Proper Romance line. When I told her there were only 3 so far and she already owned 2 of them, she pouty-faced. Guess what book's wrapped for her under the tree? :)
